Suppose you have tied the knot and would like to start using a Nanny or a Family Assistant. But how do you go about this? Who fits well with your family and what can she do for you? At The Family Assistant we have an extensive step-by-step plan for this. Together we find the perfect match!
The first meeting is often by telephone. During this conversation, together we look at what TFA can do for you. You can ask all your questions and we will do the same. After the telephone conversation we will send more information by email.
During a personal interview we go deeper into the needs and wishes. We create a profile that is as complete as possible and compare it with the available candidates in our database. In consultation with them we send you their CVs, which we review together.
You indicate to us which candidates you would like to meet. TFA schedules interviews, at a time, place and date you suggest. After the interviews, we will contact you and hear which candidates left the best impression.
The follow along moment is the next, important step in the process. A Nanny or Family Assistant is close to the private life of her employer, a good click is therefore essential. During this familiarisation moment it becomes really clear whether there is a click: with the parents, but also with the children! In the third interview or after the familiarisation moment, the terms of employment can be discussed with the candidate.
Has the perfect Nanny or Family Assistant been found? If so, you can offer her an employment contract. Of course, TFA can assist with drafting this, and advise on matters of importance to you as an employer.
Two weeks after the contract starts, we contact you and the Nanny or Family Assistant for a review moment, and whether any information or additional support is needed. We do this again after 6 weeks, 4 months and 10 months. Of course, you can always contact us in the interim!
